Middle School General Assembly

Welcome Middle School Delegates!

This is an incredible opportunity for you to immerse yourself in the world of diplomacy, international relations, and problem-solving. Throughout this conference, you will have the chance to engage in lively debates, collaborate with peers from different schools, and develop your public speaking and critical thinking skills.
Approach each committee session with an open mind and a willingness to listen and learn. Engage with your fellow delegates respectfully, ask insightful questions, and actively contribute to the discussions. This is a safe space for you to make mistakes, ask for clarification, and ultimately grow as a delegate and a global citizen.
Our chairs are working hard to ensure you have a great experience, and walk you through the whole process! We can’t wait to see you in April!

Hi Sierra Vista Students!

Thank you to everyone who showed up to the training session! However, no worries if you were unable to make it - attached below are the slides and the recording to Saturday's meeting.

A couple of final reminders:

1. If you have dietary restrictions, please fill out this dietary restriction form by April 21. We will be serving food from West Coast Hibachi along with snacks and drinks, all for free!

2. Unfortunately, many of our emails have been going to spam. Please place nhsmunc@gmail.com and virajkadakia1@gmail.com into your contact books to ensure you get future emails!

3. All middle school updates will also be posted on our website at northwoodmun.com/msga.

4. Please read the background guide! It is posted on our website and is the best starting place for preparing.

5. Submit position papers by April 21st to https://forms.gle/Nq5SDmuoQqTHeV6E8. Position papers are OPTIONAL but highly recommended, since you become eligible for a research award and it's a great way to do research.

6. All of you initially received an email that stated what country you are representing. If you do not know or you did not receive an email, contact me ASAP - but check your spam folders first!
